Listing fees, commission and the exact checks Catchy Services carries out must be confirmed in the onboarding paperwork before a provider is charged. This page sets the conduct rules. It does not invent a fee that has not been agreed.
The relationship
You provide courier or cleaning services as an independent business. A customer booking is a contract between you and the customer, unless a written agreement says otherwise. Catchy Services provides the marketplace, enquiries and complaint support.
You must not tell customers that Catchy Services is the supplier of the job, and you must not use the Catchy name in a way that hides who is responsible for the service.
Listings and conduct
- Keep your business name, contact details, services, areas and prices accurate.
- Do not claim insurance, licences, qualifications or verification you do not hold.
- Quote in British pounds, including extras, before the customer commits.
- Identify yourself to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
- Deliver the service with reasonable care and skill, and follow the agreed scope.
- Tell the customer about material delays or if you have to cancel.
- Treat customers fairly. Discriminatory conduct, fake reviews and misleading advertising are grounds for removal.
- Protect customer property and personal information, and use it only for the booking.
Insurance and legal duties
You must hold the insurance and licences the law requires for your work. Depending on the service, that may include public liability, employers’ liability, suitable motor insurance and goods-in-transit cover. You must show evidence when Catchy Services asks, and you must not let cover lapse while you are listed.
Fees
If Catchy Services charges a listing fee, commission or other platform fee, the amount, when it is due, and whether it is refundable will be set out in your onboarding confirmation before you are asked to pay. Customers pay you directly for the service unless a different arrangement is disclosed and agreed.
Complaints, suspension and removal
You must handle customer complaints promptly and fairly. Catchy Services may contact you about a complaint and may suspend or remove a listing where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unlawful activity, serious misconduct, or a material breach of this agreement.
Removal does not cancel duties you already owe a customer for a confirmed booking.
Acceptance
Listing a service, or continuing to accept enquiries through Catchy Services, means you agree to this Service Provider Agreement and to the Website Terms and Conditions where they apply to providers. Governing law is the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
