The provider who accepts your booking must tell you the notice period, any cancellation charge and how a deposit is treated before you confirm. Those booking terms apply to the service itself.
Who handles a cancellation
The contract for the courier or cleaning service is with the independent provider named in your booking confirmation. Contact that provider to cancel, change the time, or ask about a refund of money you paid them.
Catchy Services can help pass a message on, using Enquiry@Catchyservices.com or 020 7998 3567 / 07951 578045. That help does not make Catchy Services the supplier, and it does not guarantee a refund from the provider.
Before you are charged
An enquiry or quote request is not a confirmed booking. You should not be asked to pay a cancellation charge for a request that a provider has not accepted.
Any charge for cancelling, changing the slot, a failed delivery, or a deposit must be explained before you agree to the booking. Charges must be fair and transparent.
Statutory cancellation rights
If you are a consumer and the booking is a distance contract, a 14-day cancellation period may apply. That right can be limited where a service is booked for a specific date or period, or where you ask for the service to start during the cancellation period. If you ask for an early start, the provider must obtain any acknowledgement the law requires.
Where a statutory right applies, it overrides any conflicting term in a booking.
If the provider cancels
If the provider cannot carry out a confirmed booking, you should be offered a suitable alternative or a refund of sums due under that booking and the law. Catchy Services may help you find another listed provider, but a new booking is a new agreement.
Cleaning and courier differences
Courier charges can also arise if a collection fails because the address was wrong or nobody was available. Any redelivery or return charge must be disclosed before you become liable for it.
Cleaning refunds or return visits depend on the agreed scope. Incomplete work or damage should be reported to the provider as soon as you reasonably can, with the booking reference and any photographs.
