Who does the clean
The cleaning provider identified in your quotation or confirmation carries out the work and is the party you contract with. Catchy Services introduces the enquiry and does not itself supply the clean unless a separate written agreement says so.
What should be in the quote
- The tasks included, and anything that is not included.
- The type of property and, where relevant, how long the visit is expected to take.
- The price in pounds, or how the price will be calculated, including any call-out or extra-room charge.
- The date and arrival window.
- How to cancel or change the visit, and any charge for doing so.
A regular home clean, a deep clean, an end-of-tenancy clean and an office clean are different jobs. Work that is not written into the booking is not included.
Access and the property
Please make sure the provider can get in, and tell them about pets, alarms, fragile surfaces, hazards and any rooms that should be left alone. If the property is materially different from the details you gave, the provider must explain any change in price or scope and get your agreement before doing the extra work.
What is not included unless agreed
Repairs, building work, hazardous waste, specialist pest treatment, mould remediation, biohazard cleaning and exterior or carpet treatments are outside a standard clean. They need their own confirmation if a provider offers them.
If something is missed or damaged
Tell the provider as soon as you reasonably can. Keep the booking reference and photographs. A fair remedy can include putting the work right, a return visit, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the booking and the law.
